Memorial Day Ceremony
Join us on May 30 for our annual Memorial Day Ceremony. In observance of Memorial Day, a recording of over 2,000 Wisconsin men and women who have given their lives in service to our country will be heard throughout the Park beginning at 10am.
The Liberty Bell will ring at 3pm for the National Moment of Remembrance, marking the beginning of the Memorial Day Ceremony. The Highground will welcome Army National Guard Veteran David Carlson, founder of C.C. We Adapt in Eau Claire, as the honored guest speaker.
In advance of the ceremony, motorcyclists participating in the 12th Annual Honor Ride will depart the American Legion Post #73 at 1:45pm. They will parade through Neillsville on their way to The Highground with the community showing their support and patriotism as the riders pass by. The Liberty Bell will ring as supporters welcome riders along the flag-lined road.

All funds raised by the Honor Ride will help The Highground continue to improve its PTS/PTSD programs, Veterans Retreats and more which are provided to our Veterans and their families at no cost. These offerings along with the tranquility of The Highground and Camp Victory are part of the continuing mission to help heal the wounds of war.
The Highground is located at W7031 Ridge Rd, Neillsville, WI 54456.
