With assistance from  the Neillsville Volunteer Fire Department and countless volunteers, The Highground night sky was filled with the beautiful sights and sounds of freedom. With respect to social distancing, over 400 people from surrounding communities came together for an amazing fireworks display. 

The Highground is exceedingly grateful for the numerous donations received, to Kevin and Joyce Witt for their help with the fireworks order and their monetary contribution, to Jim Ottman for delivering them, and to Dave Droste and Hardee’s of Neillsville for their ongoing support.

The Museum and Gift Shop are open daily from 10am-5pm and the plaza and trails are open 24/7 for visitors to enjoy. Event updates, current news, and more are available on The Highground’s website at thehighground.us/calendar.
