The Highground Veterans Memorial Park gratefully acknowledges the receipt of a Vision Sport Power Wheelchair which was delivered to the Park on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, by Richard LaFountaine, the generous donor and owner at St Paul Siders, and 1SG Dean W. Markuson, Veteran supporter at Foss and Swanson Veterans. Dean helped make this donation possible by connecting Richard with Chris Pettis, Executive Director at The Highground. Valued at over $6,000, the wheelchair will be an invaluable asset for mobility impaired Veterans, volunteers and visitors who make their way to The Highground for personal reflection, to honor others, or to support events and activities.
