The Highground Welcomed Guest Speaker Betty Sitler to the POW/MIA Exhibit Opening

The Highground hosted a grand opening ceremony for the POW/MIA exhibit on May 1, 2021, featuring guest of honor Betty Sitler. Betty’s late husband Harold “Red” Sitler was a POW for 1,009 days during the Korean War. Red was a “Tiger Survivor”, meaning that he was among the POWs who were held under an incredibly cruel North Korean Major nicknamed “The Tiger”. The ceremony was held at the Dove Effigy Mound, The Highground’s tribute to POW/MIAs, where we were joined by several members of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

This exhibit, along with the “League of WivesVietnam POW exhibit, will be on display at The Highground through July 15, 2021. The Highground is located at W7031 Ridge Road, Neillsville, WI 54456
