Veteran & Family PTS Peer Support Group September 2022

The Highground will host the next Veteran & Family PTS Peer Support Group on Sunday, September 18 at 2pm. This gathering will focus on the benefits of nature in PTS management. Veterans, families and the public are invited to attend the casual gathering to obtain resources and more information on post-traumatic stress (PTS).

Please note this is not a professional counseling event. It is a gathering for those who are interested in learning more about PTS resources that are available for families. It presents an opportunity for attendees to make connections with others who are or have been, “in their shoes”; and it is a place to connect with a peer-support system that can help during times when a person may feel alone in their loved one’s struggle with PTS. This family support group will bring a community together around those who are struggling.
