Fall Women’s Veterans Retreat

A Gathering of Veterans—An Abundance of Activities, Food, Fun, and Camaraderie

Many Veterans are looking for solutions to issues such as PTSD that are making it difficult for them to achieve the quality of life and relationships they seek. The goal of the Veterans Weekend is to offer new ideas, workshops, and information to Veterans in an atmosphere of camaraderie, peace, relaxation, and fun.

The Highground works with several long-standing, successful organizations to bring the best healing and interesting programs to the weekend retreats. These organizations include The Vet Center, Up There LLC Horse Therapy, the Heartbeat Center, Henry Smith Woodcarving, CART Art Center, The National Eagle Center, and more.

Veterans will be introduced to many things that they can continue with AFTER the Veterans Weekend to help them realize goals of peace and fulfillment that they may presently lack in their lives. They will leave the Retreat with actual items related to the workshops and newfound camaraderie from friendships formed with other Veterans over the weekend.

In addition to activities and great food, there will be time for Veterans to relax at The Highground.

Sponsors are still being accepted for the 2020 Veterans Weekend Retreats! To have your business or organization become a part of these healing adventures for our Veterans, please contact Theresa Hebert by email to museum@thehighground.us or at 715-743-4224.
