The Highground announces their Global War on Terror Gold Star Memorial Tree is now on display in the Museum. Featured are photo cards of all the men and women from Wisconsin who have been lost in combat since Desert Storm / Desert Shield to present day. The tree is almost 9′ tall and is topped with a brightly lit Gold Star.

The Highground invites the Gold Star families of these individuals to send or bring an ornament from their home and/or a personal message (on a 2″ x 3″ card stock) to hang next to their person’s photo on the tree. It would be best if families could offer an ornament that the Highground can keep with the photograph permanently, to avoid any losses or damage during shipment.Ornaments and/or messages can be sent to:
