The 70′ Flagpole, brought here by the Clark County Area Veterans Council in 1986, was the first permanent structure on The Highground. The 10’x15′ flag is subjected to high winds which causes extreme wear and tear on the flag fabric. Each flag lasts roughly four-six weeks due to these harsh conditions. Generous sponsors provide the funding needed to keep the flags flying at all times.
