An informal gathering of Gulf War, GWOT (Global War on Terror—including OIF, OEF, to present day) Veterans, their families, Gold Star families, and families of those we have lost since returning home from serving, will be held on Saturday, July 18 at The Highground Veterans Memorial Park.  The reunion will be held from noon to 2pm, following the 10am Persian Gulf Honor Stone ceremony.

Veterans will be able to spend time with fellow Veterans in a casual setting and share an outdoor meal. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs as seating is limited. An RSVP is appreciated.

Weather permitting, Veterans and Gold Star families will be able to sign The Highground’s Big Maps of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Afghanistan.  

Staff from the Vet Center will be present to help answer service-related questions and there will be information available for Veterans and/or families seeking help with PTSD and other issues. Additional information regarding other opportunities and programs for Veterans will also be on display.
