The Highground Shifts to Contingency Plan for Winter Bowl as COVID Strikes Again

The Highground team has decided to move forward with “Plan B” for their 8th Annual Winter Bowl. The COVID-19 rates continue to remain high and the vaccination may not be available to the general public until this summer or fall. The team is excited to share a different experience with participants. This will give supporting partners the opportunity to help raise funds for the 2021 Men’s and Women’s Veterans Retreats, COVID or NOT.

From January 9–29, 2021 (excluding Sundays), the public is invited to reserve their “lane” between noon and 4pm at The Highground Museum (lower level) for a unique, fun and educational bowling experience. Only one lane will be available at a time, so supporters are encouraged to reserve their lane(s) soon—to help us strike the pins of PTSD. Take a chance on the bucket raffle, grand prize, patriotic ski chair and cash drawing. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the Museum from noon–4pm. All drawings will take place at noon on Friday, January 29, 2021. Note: Participants need not be present to win.

More information, including an online registration option and photos of the raffle baskets, is available on the 8th Annual Winter Bowl event webpage. Questions and sponsorship inquiries can be directed to Bonnie at events@thehighground.usor by calling 715-743-4224.
