Supporters snag some treats during The Highground’s Fall Bake Sale.

On October 4, The Highground and its sweet volunteer bakers came together to host its annual Fall Bake Sale. Sharing the day with Legacy Stone placements, many guests took advantage of the assortment of treats to feed their sweet tooth. Their support helped raise $1,105.

All proceeds from the bake sale are designated to help the Museum create new and improved exhibits. The funds will also help secure new items for the Museum, so The Highground can continue to honor our veterans by offering different exhibits and educating the public.

The Highground extends warmest thanks to all the bakers who contributed to the sale: Bonnie Henchen, Rhonda Miller, Linda Berg, Patty Schwoch, Susan Budek, Sue and Mary Kokosz, Sarah Schumacher, Helynn Schufletowski, and everyone else who dropped off baked goods but were unable to sign the baker sheet.

Thanks to the unwavering support, The Highground remains steadfast in its mission to Honor, Educate and Heal every individual they have the privilege to serve.

If you would like to be a part of The Highground’s Spring Bake Sale by providing goodies or volunteering during the event, please email events@thehighground.org or call Amber at 715-743-4224.
