Spring into the Arts Tour (Host Site)

The Highground is thrilled to be a host site for the Clark County Spring into the Arts Tour April 24-25, 2026, from 9am-5pm both days

Several Veteran artists will have booths at the Welcome Center to show and sell their work to the public. Lunch will be available from 11am-1pm. We are inviting military Veteran artists/craftspeople to display and sell their works during this exciting Central Wisconsin event.

The Highground recognizes that the creation of artworks of many forms, including painting, writing and music, can be an important activity to help lessen depression and provide fulfillment in life. Creative expression has also been shown to be a positive tool in the prevention of suicide, both Veteran and civilian.

As part of The Highground’s mission of Healing and with the support of donors and volunteers, we will continue to host art events and Veterans programs at no charge to Veterans and families who are working their way through PTSD and other mental health issues. There is no “wrong way” to be an artist and the road to healing might start with one small creative step.

For more information on showcasing their art, Veterans are invited to email Theresa at museum@thehighground.org or call 715-743-4224.
