The Highground is proud to announce the successful completion of its annual Patriotic Quilt Raffle. This year’s raffle featured 29 handmade quilts and crocheted afghan blankets, with 630 tickets sold out by November 10. Thanks to the incredible support of participants and donors, the raffle raised $2,820 to strengthen The Highground’s ability to serve our veterans and community through education and programs.

The nonprofit organization extends wholehearted thanks to all the patriots who purchased tickets and took a chance on these beautiful, handcrafted works of art. A special thank you to the talented quilters and artisans who generously donated their time, materials and skills to produce these gorgeous pieces. Their dedication and artistry made this raffle possible and ensured its success.

A few supporters braved the chilly weather to attend the drawing.

On December 3, a few die-hard supporters defied the bitter cold to be present for the drawing. Their enthusiasm was met with door prizes as a small token of appreciation. All winners have been successfully contacted and notified of their prize.

“We are deeply grateful for the community’s continued support. Every ticket purchased, every quilt donated and every person who participated helps sustain the vital work we do,” expressed Chris Pettis, executive director of The Highground.
