
“Courage to Heal” Female Veterans Retreat 2025
The Highground is making plans for the Female Veterans PTSD/MST-Focused Retreat which will be held June 13-15, 2025. The retreat is open to any female Veteran of any age and service history.
The retreat will consist of workshops and activities for female Veterans proven helpful in the management of post-traumatic stress (PTS) and military sexual trauma (MST) recovery… all while enjoying nature and the camaraderie of other female Veterans. The activities will combine nature-based physical activities, creative arts, mindfulness, and PTS management workshops led by Vietnam Veteran Nurse and PTS/MST advocate Sarah Blum. This retreat and activities will be
accessible to most Veterans with a mobility impairment. Details about confirmed workshops will be available soon.
A registration fee is required which will be refunded to the Veterans when they arrive. Once Veterans are at the retreat, The Highground will take care of food, lodging, supplies, etc..

Please note: Transportation to and from the retreat weekend is the responsibility of the Veteran.
